So... yeah. You probably wanna kill me. That's cool. Nothing new, really. That said, allow me to explain.

I'm on a constant quest to make the comic as appealing and attractive as possible. My "realistic" art style is notoriously hit or miss, with the same character often ranging from beautiful to fugly on a single page. It's just inconsistant and not always, you know, good. Thus, I decided that maybe it was time to dust off and modify my "Sporkman" art style and take it for a spin.

The artwork in this style is much more consistant, as well as being instantly more appealing to a majority of people (aka, it's more marketable). The cartoonier style also lends itself better to the story I'm trying to tell - a story that gets wackier with every passing page. Which is to say, the art style is now more in keeping with the tone of the comic itself.

It's also easier and faster to draw. But I saved that reason for last so I wouldn't look like a huge dick.

In any event, this could all just be a temporary experiment. We'll throw it at the wall for a few pages and see if it sticks.
