HELP-MAKE-JOHN'S-CAR-PAYMENT-O-THON 2009!

As of today, I have 800 readers, more or less. If each of you donated just ONE dollar a month, I could easily pay my bills. Seriously, just a buck a month. However, I suspect you may need more incentives besides my eternal gratitude.

As such, while donating just a dollar might ensure this comics continued existence, I've got some bonus items in store. First up, if you donate FIVE OR MORE dollars before July 31st, you'll be granted access to an exclusive short story I'm writing. This six-to-ten page wonder will be available ONLY to people that donate $5 or more, and ONLY if you do so in July. After that, POOF! No more short story.

Anyone meeting that $5 quota will recieve the short story (which will follow a DS adventure not told in the comic itself) at the beginning of August.

Essentially, I'm trying to find a way to not get a real job, because I like providing you fine people with regular entertainment. Monthly donation drives (with bonus content, of course) seems like a reasonable plan of action. If you donate nothing, the comic itself will still be here. For now. But it's a rather time-consuming venture and it could start disappearing if I have to work a 9-to-5 job for the man.
